I tried my hand at digital painting back when Painter was first invented, and eventually I longed for something to hold that got my hands dirty making it and holding it at the end (I use fire a lot) .. geez, I just realized I was doing digital art on Univac mainframes back in the 70's as a kid. My Dad was a systems' analyst and gave me grid paper that I used to fill in with numbers and letters to make pictures. He would type in the lines and print them out on un-gridded sheets. Wow, I have to put that in my bio.
