BADguys by *derLarm "...an amazing traditional artist, and after looking through his gallery, I was stunned." Needless to say, so was I. With a solid use of mixed media on rusted sheet metal, which shows its beautiful texture and color through the image, this piece is both expressive and perfectly controlled in its construction. Make sure to take your time and enjoy this gorgeous gallery. ( Suggested by ~elithespork and Featured by `stigmatattoo )

The transparancy of the airbrush creates a beautiful depth. It's a stunning piece of work.

The red lips work well with the grey and dark background. I've seen the colour combination a bit lately. I might give it a try if I'm in that mood again.
Funny how colours appeal to the mood. Like a bower bird and his nest.

There've been a few paintings (I think one was by Delaunay, an intdustrial factory kind of painting that I can't find on line) that use that grey monochromatic scheme with red in just the key spot that I can never get out of my head when I think of color. I feels very "Detroit" to me.

Hmm, yeh. Strange love that dark industrial building falling to peices in a pit of despair. Resolving affordable chrome and black aerosole and then opting for a higher lifestyle choice with the mailbox red. The rest is all stays in my head.
